Self care is super important and it doesn’t have to be some elaborate thing. One of the easiest ways you can practice self care is by doing a nightly routine.

My nightly routine consists largely of oils and supplements. I know I’m going to feel better when I use my oils and supplements so even if I’m tired and just want to go to bed, I try to make myself do my routine.

I love when other people share their different routines so I thought I would share my oily night time routine with you guys.

I don’t go in the same order each night but I try to use each of these products on a nightly basis.

Supplements

1. Life 9

Life 9 is a probiotic by Young Living. This is best taken on an empty stomach right before bed so that is when I take it.

Probiotics help your gut and your gut is connected to so many different things in your body so it’s important to take care of it.

I’ve also noticed that I sleep better when I take it.

2. Thyromin

This is a supplement for thyroid support. As a woman you want to make sure that you are supporting your thyroid and your hormones.

Like our gut, hormones control a lot of things in our bodies and if they are out of whack then it can cause so many different issues.

Oils & Supplements Guide

Oils

1. Endoflex

This oil is great for endocrine support. Your endocrine system does a lot of things but one thing is that it produces hormones.

Like I mentioned above, if your hormones in your body are off then it can cause tons of problems.

I like to use endoflex to help support my hormones. I put a roller top on this and roll it over my Thyroid.

*Note: This oil could be too strong to use straight for some people. You can dilute it with fractionated coconut oil.

2. Juvaflex

Juvaflex is good for liver support. Your liver filters out toxins from your body so you want to make sure that it is supported.

I put a roller top on it and roll it over my liver. Don’t be alarmed, this oil comes out blue but it goes away quickly.

3. Tranquil

This is a roller blend from Young Living and I just started using it but love it! I sleep so much better when I use this and it helps me stay asleep!

4. Progessence Plus

This is a natural progesterone serum from Young Living. It is made with progesterone from wild yams.

This oil blend is great for women to help support their hormones. I just put one or two drops on my forearm and then rub it in.

Can you tell yet that supporting hormones is a big deal around here?

5. Thieves

I have a roller that I made that is just Thieves and fractionated coconut oil. I roll it on my feet before bed and if I want a little extra support I also roll it on my spine.

6. Adrenal Roller

This roller has Nutmeg, Lemongrass, and Basil essential oils. It also has fractionated coconut oil. I roll this over my kidneys each night.

Your adrenals help regulate stress so they definitely need support.

7. Diffuse

I always diffuse oils when I’m going to sleep. I have two go to options that I choose from.

I either diffuse Cedarwood by itself, which is great for sleep support or I do a blend of Peace & Calming, Valor and Peace & Calming.

I love these three oils together because it’s so relaxing and allows me to quiet my thoughts.

1.Face Serum

My face serum is made of Lemon, Lavender, and Frankincense essential oils and Jojoba oil.

Jojoba oil is great for skin as it’s really hydrating. Lemon oil is great for brightening skin. Lavender and Frankincense are great for skin support and hydration.

I do about 15 drops of each essential oil and then fill the rest of the bottle up with jojoba oil.

2. Dry Shampoo

The dry shampoo I use is homemade and it’s a super simple recipe. I don’t measure, I just eyeball it.

First put some cornstarch or arrowroot powder in a container. Since my hair is darker I add some cocoa powder to it for color. You can add as much or as little as you need to match your hair color.

Then I add Rosemary, Lavender, and Cedarwood essential oils. All of these are great for hair health and growth.

I just use a makeup brush and brush the dry shampoo onto my roots before bed. I like using it at night because in the morning my hair isn’t oily and it doesn’t look like I have any dry shampoo in my hair.

I also do the obvious things like take my contacts out and brush my teeth but those don’t need any explanation.

I know this may seem like a lot for a night time routine but it really doesn’t take long. Most of my oils are in roller bottles so I just roll them on and move on.

I notice a big difference in my mood, skin, and energy when I don’t do my routine for a few days.

What is your night time routine? Do you see it as a form of self care?
