Who doesn’t love a good quote? I love going to quotes when I need a little pick me up. I’ve included 10 of my current favorite inspirational quotes and a little description about them. I hope they inspire you like they have me.
1 . Every day may not be good, but there is good in every day.
This is my go to quote when I’m having a bad day. I have to remind myself to look for the good. There is always good to be found, we just tend to focus on the bad or the negative.
2 . You only fail when you stop trying.
In other words, DON’T GIVE UP! Things might get hard and you might feel like a failure but you’re only failing if you give up.
3 . Rock bottom will teach you lessons that mountaintops never will.
This is one of my current favorite inspirational quotes. It’s so easy to feel like things keep going wrong and nothing good ever happens to you. Good things will come but you will have so much more knowledge because of those hard times.
4 . Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.
The road to get to anything good is always hard. We, including myself, often look at people on social media or celebrities and just see the final destination and how glamorous it is. We don’t see the hard work it took to get there so we often forget about it. There is always a hard and long road to get to anything worth having. This is a great reminder when I get impatient about things I want.
5 . Keep going. You did not come this far just to come this far.
Another one about not giving up. You did not come this far just to give up. Think about all the work you’ve put in to get to this point, do you really want to throw all that away and give up now? No! You keep going!
6 . The problem is not the problem, the problem is your attitude about the problem. -Jack Sparrow
Who doesn’t love Jack Sparrow? This is another quote about seeing the bad. We normally have a bad attitude about bad things or things we don’t like. If we can find the good in it and look at the positives then it’s going to make it so much easier to get through.
7 . No rain. No flowers.
So simple yet so true. Without rain and the hard times, you don’t get the good times and the rewards.
8 . Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyway. -Earl Nightingale
Another one about anything good taking time. Good things take time and if we only think of how long it’s going to take us to accomplish it then we are missing the point. Focus on the end goal and not the time it’s going to take to get there.
9 . Fear is temporary. Regret is forever.
You might be scared to make a decision or to go for that thing you’ve been wanting to do, but the fear is only temporary. You will get over the fear if you just go for it, you won’t get over the regret if you don’t.
10 . Just because it’s hard doesn’t mean it’s impossible. You can do it.
Life is HARD. Building a life you love is HARD. But that doesn’t make it impossible. We often look at hard as not worth it or not attainable. That’s not true! Something being hard makes it so much more worth it and it’s totally possible.
